We're a network of mothers' groups, taking action on climate all across the UK. The first step in creating a Mothers CAN group is to bring mums from your local area together for a 'Meet', usually held online and led by Mother CAN facilitators.

You don't have to know anything about climate change already to take part, and you definitely don't need to be living the perfect eco-friendly lifestyle! Our facilitators create a space for you to get to know other mums better, and talk about how you feel about climate change. We try to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere, usually holding the Meets after children's bedtimes - feel free to bring along your own drinks and snacks!

After the meet there’s no commitment to do anything more, but if you want to continue the conversation we'll arrange another session, this time talking more about your local area and what the opportunities might be for taking action.

From there, we provide all the training and support you need to take action on climate in your local area. We'll also connect you to Mothers CAN groups in other parts of the country, inviting you to be part of a powerful national network.
