Anxiety to Action

Are you driven to do something about climate change but need support to get going?

Twice a year Mothers CAN runs a fully-funded five-week programme (2 hours per week), to help climate- concerned mums take collective action in their local communities across the UK.

On the course you will learn:

  • Why collective action is important and what the different routes to change are

  • Why building power is central to making effective change

  • To understand your self-interest and how to motivate others

  • How to engage with people in your community through 1:1s

  • How to talk about climate so others will listen

  • How to build a Mothers CAN group and schedule a supported ‘meet’ (optional 6th session)

  • You will leave the course feeling confident, empowered and ready to take action.

The next course will run from Wednesday 25th February - Wednesday 25th March 2026.
